For Families
Who want to be part of something that matters, and who believe their child deserves a school built around how they truly grow.
The Collaborative Education Alliance is a registered nonprofit organization built to find, support, and grow schools that shape character alongside curriculum.
The Collaborative Education Alliance is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting schools that are doing education differently. We believe that a child's school experience should do more than deliver curriculum. It should shape character. Build resilience. Develop the kind of self-awareness, communication, and leadership that no standardized test can measure, but that every employer, every community, and every relationship will one day ask for.
Environments where students are known by name, trusted with real responsibility, challenged to grow beyond what they thought possible, and surrounded by educators who see themselves as mentors and coaches, not just teachers.
CEA was founded to find those schools, support them, and help them grow.
The Collaborative Education Alliance began with Evergreen Leadership Academy, a private elementary school in Ontario for students aged 4 to 13, built on the belief that children thrive when they feel genuinely seen, challenged, and inspired.
At Evergreen, students don't just cover curriculum. They track their goals, reflect daily, and build habits of leadership and personal accountability. Every day includes focused academics, intentional fitness, project-based learning, and community time. Students earn recognition for personal growth, not just academic performance.
The results have been remarkable. Not just academically, but in who the students become. In the confidence they carry. The questions they ask. The way they show up.
Evergreen proved what CEA was built to believe: when a school is designed around how children actually grow, everything changes.
CEA is working to expand this model, to identify, support, and grow a network of schools across Canada that share this philosophy and this commitment to the whole child.
Who want to be part of something that matters, and who believe their child deserves a school built around how they truly grow.
Who want support, community, and resources as they build schools designed around character, agency, and meaningful learning.
Who understand that investing in how the next generation learns to think and lead is one of the most important investments any of us can make.
If that's you, we're glad you're here.
