What Are the Games?
More Than What You Know
Games of Excellence is a team competition built around a series of unexpected challenges.
Teams will need to reason, create, communicate, move, build and adapt as the Games unfold.
The challenges remain a mystery until Game Day. Teams will need to figure out what the moment demands and how best to respond together.

A Few Things to Know
Will teams know the challenges in advance?
No. Part of the Games is seeing how teams respond to
challenges they have not seen before.
Does submitting an application guarantee our team a place?
No. Games of Excellence is limited to 12 selected teams.
Selected teams will be announced September 28.
When is the team fee paid?
The $100 team entry fee applies to selected teams.
Payment instructions will be provided to teams that are accepted.
Can family and friends attend?
Yes. Each participating team receives five complimentary spectator
admissions. Additional spectator tickets are $5 each. Online spectator
ticket sales will open closer to Game Day.
Do players need to attend the same school?
No. Teams do not need to represent a school. Players from different
schools are welcome to compete together.
Do players need to prepare for specific challenges?
No. The challenges remain secret until Game Day. Teams should come
ready to think, communicate, adapt and work together.
What happens if our team is selected?
The parent or guardian contact will receive confirmation, payment
instructions and complete Game Day information following the September 28 announcement.
Where are the Games taking place?
Games of Excellence will take place at Improve Canada,
7250 Keele Street in Vaughan, Ontario. Free on-site parking is available.
